    • If the .NET Framework 3.1 SPI or later is already enabled then you can repair .NET Framework by removing check marks in the box and then restart your computer.
    • Now enable the .NET Framework and restart your system again.

For Windows 7 Users:

  • Close all the running process and make sure that .NET Framework 3.5 SPI is enabled.
    • Press Windows + R keys to open the run command
    • Type Control Panel and hit Enter
    • Click on Uninstall a Program
    • Then, Turn Windows features on or off
      • If the .NET Framework 3.5 is not enabled then click on the box to enable it and then click on
      • Restart your computer.
      • If the .NET Framework 3.5 is already enabled then you can repair .NET Framework by removing check marks in the box and then restart your computer.
      • Now enable the .NET Framework and restart your system again.
  • Make sure that .NET Framework 4.5 or later is already installed
    • Open Control Panel and click on Uninstall a Program
      • If you see Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or later in the list then you need to move on to the 3rd step to repair it.
      • If you don’t see Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or later in the list then proceed to the 5th step to install it.
  • Repair .NET Framework 4.5 or later (4.7).
    • Open the Control Panel and go to the Program & Features section
    • Click on Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or later.
    • Select Uninstall/Change
    • Select Repair and then click on Next.

      • Once the process finishes successfully, run QuickBooks or try to reinstall QuickBooks.
      • If an error occurs during repair or the repair doesn’t fix the issue, proceed to Step 4 to uninstall .NET Framework.
  • Uninstall .NET Framework 4.5 or later (4.7).
    • Go to the Programs & Features and select Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or later.
    • Click on Uninstall, then Next.

    • Proceed to Step 5 to reinstall it.
  • Install .NET Framework 4.5 or later (4.0 Client and Extended built-in).
    • Go to the official website of Microsoft and download .NET Framework 4.5 or later.
    • Save the file to your desktop.

    • Once the process finishes, restart your system.
