  • Add ports to the third party Firewall by setting TCP in a specific port needed according to your QuickBooks version. For example: Quickbooks desktop 2017: 8019,90027,55373-55377,etc.
  • Now add executable files to your third party antivirus firewall. For example DB Manager EXE.exe, Intuit Sun manager.exe, etc.
• Go manually configure port and exception in your firewall.
  • Server 2003
    • Click on Firewall and add ports
    • Make sure that TCP is selected and insert a specific port
    • Now click OK and restart QuickBooks in multiuser mode.
  • Windows 7, 8, 10, Server 2008 & 2012
    • Go to windows firewall setting and select advanced settings.
    • Select the port and make sure that TCP is selected.
    • Now, proceed and allow the connection properly.
    • Provide rule’s name like QBPort and click OK to find.
    • Reopen it in a multiuser mode to make sure that the issue is resolved or not.
