- Run QuickBooks Desktop and go to the Tools
- Now, click on Online Centre.
- Select Financial Institution and click on the option you want to choose
- Press CTRL+F3
- Again go to the Online Centre and the click on Contact Info.

- Choose the error 179 related key
- Save the key information
- Create a file and provide it a desired name
- Choose .reg extension and save it
