Invoice Numbering
While configuring the synchronization settings between IFSM and QBO, you need to check the number of invoices and how those invoices are shown in QBO.
If you opt the When Invoices are copied use QuickBooks Online numbering option, the invoice in QBO will be the next invoice inside QBO.
If you opt the When Invoices are copied use Service Management numbering, ensure that any manually created invoices in QuickBooks Online containing a different number format than the invoices syncing from IFSM. The invoice in QBO will be overwritten by new invoice from IFSM if there is any existing invoice number in QBO which is similar to one that you synced from IFSM.
The database structure of QuickBooks Desktop is different than QuickBooks Online. If you’ve subscribed to IFSM, make sure to support documentation before migrating QuickBooks Desktop data to QBO.
